Moved

Its been six months now....since I've moved to Bangalore....the city of IT and Engineers. Its quite a simple world out here. You will be working in an IT company, have friends working in IT companies and be going to pubs that are open till 11:30 max during the weekends. Oh yes, Bangalore is a good gal!!

I didn't want to move. That's kinda obvious coz I've spent the last few years of my life in Mumbai. N boy, Mumbai is a seductress, an ugly whore. She will charm you, hook you. You cannot help falling for her, despite yourself. One who comes here, doesn't want to leave. You will overlook her ugliness, coz she has lot to offer. Her seduction is complete.

But you know what, I'm glad I came out. I needed this break. Coz after all, Mumbai is dark. She is beautiful, but dark. You cannot escape that. Bangalore is more straight, simpler. Immature may be, but simple.  I know I won't be here long. But right now, I need to be in such a place. Frankly, I'm liking it here now.

I have never been a settler. That has been my fate. I've only lived at a single place long enough to sense it's pulse, to understand it, to bond with it, and then I've moved. I like it this way. 

Let's see, which city beckons me next......
